Aboutime is a free software platform that helps users manage cleaning operations, schedules, and team coordination. By using Aboutime, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
When you register or are invited to Aboutime, we collect your name, email address, and role (manager or team member). Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
We collect data related to your cleaning operations, including shift schedules, property assignments, task lists, task completion status, time-tracking records (clock-in/clock-out times), and any notes or instructions associated with tasks.
Managers may add property details such as property names, addresses, property types, and associated client information for the purpose of organizing cleaning schedules.
We automatically collect basic analytics data such as page views and interactions to improve the performance and reliability of the platform. This data is collected through Vercel Analytics and does not include personally identifiable browsing history.
Inspectors can view housekeeper profiles, shift assignments, and task progress. Housekeepers can view their own assigned shifts and tasks. Property clients may view shift schedules and task details for their properties.
We use trusted third-party services to operate the platform, including Supabase (authentication and database hosting) and Vercel (application hosting and analytics). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments.
We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Aboutime, our users, or the public.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We retain your account information and associated work data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Shift records, time-tracking data, and task history are retained to support operational reporting. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
